Customise & Create
Your New Home

The magic of luxury begins with you. Dwell presents a new air of inspiration, with the opportunity for you to design your penthouse or residence to suit your lifestyle and needs. Work directly with the developer to tailor the layout, configuration and finishes to suit your style. With between 127sqm and 600sqm of blank canvas, your dream is only limited by your imagination. Now is the time to build your perfect sanctuary.

This customisation was the most ambitious of all undertaken by a new Dwell skyhome buyer. Nelson Duan had been in the local market for nearly two years before meeting Franco Di Bartolomeo. Nelson had his heart set on a two-level townhome in the sky but could not find what he wanted. Franco was able to facilitate Nelson’s dream home with the amalgamation of two apartments into one magnificent one. Nelson is thrilled with the finishes and how substantially unique the space is. “The builder/developer and his team of consultants allowed me to have an immersive role during the building of my new home,” says Mr Duan. The townhome feels like a constant series of unfolding experiences. The dual entries offer privacy to the spaces as well as visual enjoyment. The central living zone has a dramatic ambience with a feature 6-metre high joinery white wall and Japanese sliding matt black-framed doors. The double-storey void, with abstract light pendant, suspended brilliantly, is seen through the glass balustrades and translucent floating timber staircase.

Chris and Marcelle are no strangers to refurbishing; in fact, their last home was a full renovation of a two-level Teneriffe Woolstore. After selling that home they decided to enjoy an extended overseas holiday but opted to buy a Dwell skyhome before their departure. Chris & Marcelle loved the idea of collaboratively working with Dibcorp as a builder-developer since Franco’s genuine offer of “create and customise” was aligned with theirs. “We had a dozen or more visits to our apartment during the build period. We even made 3 or 4 changes to the kitchen design after the final plans were originally agreed”. Entering the apartment, there’s warmth of colour from within and blue skies beyond and it is easy to understand the embrace of textures. A built-in plinth sits proudly within the entry. A full-length wall of repeating golden orbs ringed in silver on a rich creamy background is a contemporary wallpaper installation. Having made alterations to all rooms, the most substantial change was the kitchen layout. The result has been to achieve a home tailored to suit their personality.

Enzo and Sandra are passionate about their home environment. After recently completing a substantial renovation of their own suburban home, both had no hesitation agreeing to take advantage of the offer to customise and create their new Dwell skyhome in their preferred interior design theme, as a Hamptons classic. A key element of the Hamptons look is combining a colour palette of light and deep greys, which sits elegantly beside white trims and grounding accents of black. Add lashings of natural light and the hallmarks of creating the Hamptons skyhome was achieved. The timber flooring of Ebony Oak perfectly establishes an elegance and charm from the moment you arrive home. The great room, kitchen and media room all feature shaker profile joinery with hand-painted crispy white chamfer edge with bold Newport matt black cabinet handles.

Laurie approached the team with a request to design and construct a luxury, spacious sky home penthouse. They worked together to deliver a breathtaking, modern and contemporary penthouse, complete with double-height voided ceilings and panoramic views of the Brisbane skyline. As you enter the apartment, the first thing that grabs your attention is the sheer height of the ceilings and the expansive glass connecting you to the urban outdoors. It’s the perfect entertainers home, giving the ultimate luxury experience right in the heart of Newstead.

Anthony & Diane were in the market for an apartment that suited their individual aesthetic. After searching high and low, they approached Dibcorp with the hopes of customising one of the Dwell apartments to suit. Franco and the team worked with them to change the flooring and cabinetry, creating a timeless space that houses their collection of art and ornate furniture. The results speak for themselves, with a unique, beautiful skyhome ready to be enjoyed.

Susan came to Dibcorp with a host of great ideas and an open mind to create her dream home. The team worked side by side with Susan, workshopping the design and finishes of the outcome to meet the vision she had. The kitchen was modified substantially, as well as the moving of internal walls to open up the space, allowing it to flow from indoors to out. The hours spent workshopping the design have paid off, and the apartment is a stunning, unique, inner city sanctuary that can be enjoyed for years to come.
